I've now been a couple of times and feel I can give a decent assessment. The sense I get is that you would want to frequent 19th Hole only if you were staying in the Best Western Hotel and didn't have transportation (though the nearby selections for food are abysmally low) or you were a local anxious to get out of the house for any number of reasons. So, yes, my surface assessment is that 19th Hole has, like, nothing going for it. But this little neighborhood sports bar is growing on me. The menu is pretty extensive. You can get nachos, quesadillas, a Cesar salad, chicken marsala, pork loin, steaks, burgers, fettuccini alfredo, shrimp scampi, calamari, sandwiches, wings (try the Parmesan wings!). Tons of other things. What a hodgepodge. They also serve breakfast and have an all day breakfast option, which is a condensed version of the main menu. They keep long hours - 6 a.m. to midnight, catering to both the hotel crowds and the local scene. And, bonus: Happy Hour runs Monday-Friday from 2-5 p.m., then again from 9 p.m. until midnight (but seven days a week for that one). Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m., the restaurant offers free coffee, tea or soda when you buy a breakfast entrée. When you order lunch or dinner, or alcohol, you can get half price on certain entrees, like quesadillas, fried zucchini or their onion rings. And have you heard of such a thing as getting a discount when you bring large groups? Most times you get a surcharge. But here, you can get a 25 percent discount (depending on what you order) when your group is five or more. Also, the ambiance is pretty sweet. It is generally quiet here, though I have never been on a game or fight night. You'll find a nice-sized bar with easy television viewing, and plenty of tables for small and large groups. There are usually at least a few tables seated. The servers are attentive and kind. Cool folks, really. That makes the scene.

The Arizona sandwich was very good. I will go back for it. The home potato fries and the sweet potato fries were also good. We went for breakfast once and it was NOT good. Neither meal was satisfactory. The pancakes had strawberries that were not even close to ripe. The pork chop had a nice batter but was really chewy and tough. Bummer as there are so few places to eat down here that offer good food.

I'm eating the complimentary hotel breakfast. It's a limited menu with kind of small portions. You can upgrade to main menu with $5 off prices. Quality of food is ok. The kitchen is a bit slow. Service is ok.

Not the Worst place to eat breakfast, but nothing I have to ever go back to try again. I will say the lunch is better than the breakfast, I'd give lunch a 3 star rating. We tried the normal pancakes, eggs and bacon platter / the Chorizo burrito and the tomato with scallions and cream cheese bagel (nothing was worth posting a YELP pic). Overall I don't have anything negative to say about the restaurant, it's just that nothing was out of the ordinary. They do offer great drink specials along with karaoke (Saturdays), live band (Fridays) and a decent area to view NFL games. The restaurant seemed nice and clean, the service was friendly, just lacking the quality of food overall.

I hate writing a negative review after our waiter tried so hard to provide good customer service but I must tell the truth in my reviews! Slow but pleasant service - food was adequate. I doubt I'll be back, maybe just for a stop by for a drink but not dinner again - sorry!

The restaurant is attached to a Best Western, so I wasn't expecting gourmet cuisine. Food is standard bar-and-grill fare and prices are moderate. But seriously, get a new name for the place. Isn't the restaurant at every golf course named "The 19th Hole"? I came here for dinner one evening when I was feeling too lazy to cook. I ordered a burger. They get extra credit for offering a side salad instead of fries without an up charge. The burger was juicy with a great charbroiled flavor and the salad greens were fresh. My dining companion had a patty melt with steamed veggies that she loved. The food was definitely the best part of the experience here. Our waitress was nice...almost too nice. My friend has eaten here before and said she had to start putting purse, coat, etc. on any unoccupied chairs because in the past the waitresses have actually sat down to take the order and chat. Huh? Noise level was high, and the management gets a demerit for leaving TVs on playing an infomercial for half an hour.

The food here is good for basic cuisine. The price is right too. We had breakfast and dinner. Enjoyed both a lot. The service was great. Ham, eggs & pancakes. Chicken tortilla soup. Chicken Caesar salad. Homemade cinnamon roll for dessert was fantastic.

While staying at the best Western we ate breakfast here every morning. The hotel gives you a voucher for a free breakfast. The menu for the free breakfast is limited but the voucher is good for $5 off any regular menu item and most items are under $10 so very affordable. Don't think our breakfast cost any more than $16 for family of four. Better than the arches every day. The food it's self was not necessarily mind blowing certainly above average. But what made things even better was our server. I'm still going through recites to find her name but there are people who are good at their job and then there are people like our waitress should be teaching other people what customer service is all about. Phenomenal, outstanding not enough words to describe how good she was. We got back late one night from a trip to the grand Canyon and walked in to the restaurant late looking for something to eat. Walked in and was told the kitchen was shut down. Then the hostess said let me check if the grill is still on luckily it was so they stayed a bit to make a couple of burgers for us. Maybe it was just cause I was pretty hungry but you can't go wrong with the blue cheese burger. The bartender that night was awesome also. Even though we weren't drinking he still treated us well. Thank you to the kitchen staff for staying a little late to feed a hungry tired traveler. So if your staying at the Best Western go to the 19th hole you won't be disappointed and go there if your not staying at the hotel.

I have to say that things have gone down hill since it first opened. I used to love the food now it was just ok. I had a chorizo breakfast burrito and it was bland. I've never had bland chorizo. I had to use tobasco because even the salsa on the side had no flavor. When your menu says, "try our chorizo and we know you will be back" I expected it to be good. The sevice was just ok. She wasn't terrible. I know there is not many choices when living in Sahuarita/Green Valley, so I may be back. But it won't be for the food maybe I will just try the bar next time.

Rather ambivalent about this place. Dumb enough to eat here three times while staying at the Best Western Hotel. One Dinner and two Breakfasts. All three had the same level of service, ATROCIOUS! The food for dinner was okay, the value was fine. The breakfasts were fine nothing extraordinary, just bad service! Perhaps a few more servers and a few more cooks in the kitchen would solve their problems.

It's not consistently good. Been here many times now. sometimes the food is really hit or miss. I started out with three stars and dropped it to two. We've been here over a dozen times now and it's more of a mediocre experience than a good one. Usually the service is somewhat lacking, sometimes it's okay. Some of the food is good some of the time and others... not so much. The home made chips and dip are consistently good.

I've been back about three times since my last look and there has been a marked improvement in the service. It's striking actually. The service is now very friendly and professional so I gave them the additional star they've earned. If you wonder why I went back so often, it's frankly because it's become one of the best places to eat in Green Valley for something other than Mexican food. The food hasn't changed. It's still good. Actually, since they do "comfort food" pretty well, I'd like to see them experiment a little. One demerit though: On one visit, I asked for grilled onions on a burger. What I got was a couple of limp onion rings that look STEAMED. If they spent any time on a grill, it was barely enough to warm them up--almost enough to make them transparent but not enough to caramelize them at all. Even the waiter remarked about it it seemed so odd.

Looks like the 80/20 club here on a Saturday night...a bunch of young vulture-like ladies preying on the old men with fat wallets. The chicks are ruthless and know no boundaries when a younger man walks in with his wife, which was my case. The beer was cold, bourbon was warm and the food was alright. Many flat screens to watch sports...returned for breakfast: coffee is awful, dishes were dirty but the eggs & french toast were amazing. It's a great package deal if you book a room at the hotel attached.

Went in for breakfast, simple right! 2 waitresses, no bus person or hostess. Ordered over easy eggs, came out hard. Ordered fruit cup, only fresh part of fresh was grapes. Ordered bagel and cream cheese, no smoked samon! Forgettable!

We had heard good things about this place so decided to try it. The food we got was not great or even very good. One of us got the Philly Steak sandwich which our waiter recommended as one of their best. The meat tasted old, couldn't even eat half of it. I got the taco salad, another disappointment. The shell was not freshly cooked, but had obviously been precooked and had been sitting. It was chewy and tasted stale. The taco salad was bogged down with lots of refriending beans that were cold and the guacamole on top had turned black. Even our daughter who got the chicken strips wasn't impressed with them. Our waiter was very slow and not very attentive to our needs. We ordered the homemade chips and onion dip, after waiting for a long time we asked if he had forgotten about them. He said no, those should be coming up right now. He goes to the kitchen and brings back to our table tortilla chips and salsa. When we told him it was not what we ordered he just said oh right. By the time he brought us the correct item our order was arriving. We also thought that the homemade chips would be freshly cooked and would come warm. They as well as the tortilla chips were all precooked apparently. The waiters hands and fingernails were also dirty, which was just gross. Was very disappointing all around and we probably won't go back.
